I drive past as servo at 10-:30am, and the price on the board for unleaded is really good at $1.119/litre.

I then drive in at 12:20pm, and look at the prices of $1.289 (standard unleaded) on the board, start filling up and look at the price on the pump still saying $1.229 (for Vortex 98) and realise you got in about 2 minutes before they hike the price.

How can they justify a hike from $1.119 to $1.289 and say it's fair????

At least I got in before the hike was activated on the bowsers.

B.

Yeah it's ridiculous isn't it, the way it jumps up 10c on Wednesdays.

There's a good petrol bitching thread here as well -http://www.silviansw.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17286

Feel free to add to that too and vent the rage!!

I won't wait 'till Wednesday morning. It's not worth the risk of them bumping the price up a few hours early. I've been caught out before. :x

Tuesday's after work is my car's drinking time.

I drove past a servo a few weeks back, was 1.13. i left somthing at home and went back and got it. drove past the petrol station again, went up to 1.27.

I don't see how they can change the price so often. They have paid a certain amount for the batch, i would think that the consumer price would remain the same until they have to buy another batch. I'm not completly sure how everything works though.
