someone needs to start a secret organisation against speed cameras.
all we need to do is sneak up behind them, drill a decent hole in the back, fill it with nitro glycerine and the rest is history.

nah, get some cheap magnifying glasses with the sameish size lens as the speed camera, and glue them on the front.. Makes all the pics super blurry, and looks like it hasn't been touched :>

It is easy to avoid a Speed/Red Light Camera fine. Simply look at the relevant legislation and you will see the following:

ROAD TRANSPORT (GENERAL) ACT 1999 (NSW) - SECT 43 (Liability of responsible person for vehicle for designated offences (cf Traffic Act, s 18A))

(7) When reponsible person for vehicle not liable for camera-detected traffic light or camera-recorded speeding offence:

A person who is served with a penalty notice or a summons in respect of a camera-detected traffic light offence or a camera-recorded speeding offence is not guilty <this is the good bit!!!> of that offence by operation of this section if the person:

(a) Complies with subsection (4) in relation to the offence <subsection 4 is about naming the person who WAS in charge of the vehicle in a staturtory declaration>, or
(b) Satisfies the authorised officer (in the case of a notice) or the court (in the case of a summons) that he or she did not know and could not with reasonable diligence have ascertained the name and address of the person who was in charge of the vehicle at the time the offence occurred.

What does all this mean? essentially that is you can satisfy the officer/magistrate that you have no idea who was driving the car when it went through the speed/red light camera (works for parking fines as well), and could not have found out who was driving using reasonable dilligence (note: you dont even HAVE to try and find out, just show that it would have been too hard to find out who was driving if you HAD tried!) then you get off!

example: 'ummm, my 3 friends had the car that day, they all are willing to swear that I was not in the car that day, and all of them took turns driving the car that day, although none of them can remember who was driving the car when it went past the speed camera... I have tried to get them to remember, but aside from hypnotising them, I dont think I can reasonably find out who was driving'

This is only an example but I would bet a lot of money that this person would have got out of his speeding/red light fine.

Also, watch out for a new fixed speed camera on Pennant Hills Road in Carlingford, at the bottom of the hill after the Marsden Road intersection, catching traffic heading towards Parramatta. Not operating yet but is all ready to go, signs and all.

Hye XY will that affect me comin to yours??? I come up the dodgy back way. Also i thought they weren't allowed to put speed cameras at the bottom of a hill it has to be like 300 metres past the end.
