Last year my license was suspended for 6 months for speeding 30kms over the limit.
During my suspension I was caught driving again and a judge disqualified me for 12 months.
12 months have now passed and i tried to reapply today to get my license back but a now the rta informs me that i have to serve the rest of my 6 months before i can get my license back. Cos im on my green P's i cant apply for a probationary license. All i can do is go to court and appeal.
GRRRRRR!!!!

Is it just me or does this sound a little reminiscent of the Macquarie Fields mentality?

do the crime, do the time. i learned by doing a 1 month then a 6 month. i take it easy now. plus the fact that im older and wiser :P ok ok, older.

but you should use this time to reflect on what has happened :)

The RTA are so confusing!
Yesterday after giving my details on the phone they told me "no problems. just go in, get a new license, dont have to do a test and i pick up my green p's where i left off and wont have to start em again."

This morning on the phone they told me i cant get my license till sept.28 after i finish off the rest of my suspension and when i do i will have to do a knowledge test and i wont have to restart my green p's.

Anyways, i went in there today just to see which one was right, but they gave me my license back on the spot, no test but had to start my green p's again. told me my license is active

Really wish they would get their facts str8!!!!Lost kents!
but happy i got my license back tho :D

I have, spent the past 14 months of my life being a social leper! My spare time was spent sitting on my bum at home in front of the computer! I put on heaps of weight i can tell by the photo on my old license and the new one they took today, lol

What???? How did you get it back?? I am in the same boat as you where I have 1 suspension and 1 disqualification (which the judge SAID would overlap) yet I am still serving the extra 3 months which was supposed to be overlapped in my old 11 month suspension!!

What did you do to make them forget about the extra time ??

well, since the RTA are making me restart my Green P's Ive decided to put my turbo dreams on hold for insurance purposes. I'm just gonna wait till i get my full license. Now I've got 5 grand to play with. Planning on putting on a bodykit and upgrading the stereo system as well as adding a few mods.

What upgrades do you guys think i should do? Already planning on getting an exhaust. What else can u do to push more horses out of my engine?
