So I parked my car in the car park which is located behind Gas nightclub in the city tonight (Thursday) around 9:30pm to come back to my car at 10:00pm and find my rear quarter window shattered. Its obvious some fucken cunt tried to break into the car since the black plastic bit surrounding it is dented. I assume they ran off after my alarm went off but why my car???? There was an s15 on the other side of the street thats ALWAYS parked there yet they didn't go for that. There was also a nice black RX-8 parked a few spots before mine, all these cars are nicer and cleaner than my s14a, my car has bird shit all over it and it hasn't been washed for 6 months! WHY!?!?!

The good thing is that nothing was missing and it doesn't look like they managed to get in, so I thank god for that but im so pissed off!

Now I have to find a left hand rear quarter window to replace the shattered one, any one know of any wreckers that they highly recommend for this sort of stuff?

Maybe they felt you "stole" their spot, since they didn't get there in time or was on the wrong side doing something stupid. I know that happens in Cabramatta

well the thing is no one was around when i parked so i dont think i would have pissed anyone off. Although I should have known better since I did see some dodgy guy looking through people's windows to see if there was anything to steal last week when i was there in the afternoon whilst waiting to pick up my gf from work.

I dont recommend any of u guys park there any more, I could understand it more if i left the car for hours and hours but 30mins?

story goes... a friend of a firend has white civic coupe... on the way to gas, she picks up 600 bucks that her friend owes her... she leaves the money in the hand bag in her car... parks behind gas near the tram lines...

we get there at 11pm and her rear qtr is shattered... handbag missing...

But if I was to think like a thief I'd look inside the car for any flashing LEDs which would indicate that an alarm was present regardless of how dirty the car is. If that happened they would have saved themselves the trouble of a failed attempt to get in and saved myself some cash.

I was telling a mate over the weekend about your incident, and turns out it's not unusual for people to get their cars damaged around Gas. My friend was telling me that once (quite recently), after he left Gas there were some hoons going around randomly smashing cars. Guess I'll never park in the city without feeling insecured ever again.

my mate had his $700 jacket stolen from his car @ the parking lot behind GAS.

Ive parked my car there 3 times and nothing ever happend to it thank god.

theives mainly go for jobs based on there experince on which car not prefernce or its actual expense (they'll likely go for a car that they know how to get into)
