There's got to be a sense of parity when you do something. Just because some blind wanker can't park in one spot isn't reason enough to key up his car. It costs a shitload of money to repair something like that, for something so minor.

Inconveniencing them by letting all the air out of their tyres, or maybe stealing the screws from the license plate (but leaving the plates with the car) so they have to go and buy some (which might be a hassle to find depending on where you are) or risk getting busted by the cops, at which point its their own fault for driving a car without license plates, is one thing. But putting them up for a guaranteed several hundred (if not more) dollar bill?

If the guy does a runner after dinging your car, where you have to pay to get it fixed, on the other hand.....don't use your keys. Use your tyre iron.
