when i was 18 i got fined $1700 for goin 45kms over..!!! mabe the cop rorted me tho... :evil:

The fines aren't the same between states.

I got done doing 20km/hr over the limit in Tasmania last year, and it was an $80 fine.

I'll bet my money she drives a V8 commondoor.
Funny how it's not a P-plater so they do not describe the car in any more detail.
Feel sorry for those kids having to be looked after a mother as stupid as that.

it was a V8 Vl commodore.

I found it amusing how she felt she wasn't doing anything wrong,that it wasn't remotely dangerous,and wouldn't have a problem with doing it again.
if a young bloke in NSW driving a modified import tried that he'd be hung up by the balls in Gaol,would forfeit his car to the crown,wouldn't drive again for at least two years,and would be paying several grand in fines.
you have to love the inequity of it.

and btw,27 isn't old. if you're 18 it might seem old,but it isn't. when you're over 50 you're old.
