Idiots on NS?! Surely not!

I feel the urge to say something I've said before - not all P platers are idiots on the roads... Sure I have done a few silly things, but around other traffic I take it easier than anyone else I know.. Sit on the speed limit, stay in the left lane, stop at stop lights. And what do I get for my efforts? Horns, high-beams and tailgating (primarily) by dickheads in falcodores on their full licence. Just becuase I drive a modded car doesn't mean I have to drive like an idiot...

yeah the bloke on top is right. i do that shit too. im always nice, giveway, stop help out people so i can get the same treatment, but australia sorry you treated me bad, guess what? you better be off the raod when my car is on it.

well it doesn't sound like your car stays on the road long so we probably don't need to worry too much

Everybody will and has done stupid things on the road, but there is (well not really) a time and a place. Its all well and good putting your life in danger when you know it, but doing it to others, that isnt right.

I was mowing the lawn a couple of weeks back, on a hazy afternoon, and i came across a tree in my path. I haulted... i steped onto the gutter to lever the mower around this tree. As i step into the gutter some p-plater fag comes screaming down the hill in his un-modded vt commodore and nicks me. I almost had a fukin heart attack. i couldnt hear him coming as the mower was occuping my concentration. I was furious. I shot up to where he was to find out where he lives. Was going to go smoke up their drive way but i knew the people.

P-plates often come screaming past my house and gettin sideways around the corner. Its completely not nessercry as there are lots of children around and stuff.

Ive seen a black s13 and a black s14 come past a few times...driving sensibly of coarse

i live on a corner thats on a hill. i get pricks like that doing burnouts at 3am and dumbasses in commos etc that try to get it sideway down the hill.

one guy did about 5 years ago. car ended up on its roof. it was quite amusing!! not for him tho

i got tailgated last nite, so i sped up a little (yeah not the brightest option, but it was 2am and i just wanted to get home)

not too long after that, flashing lights, sirens, etc. the guy tailgating me was a cop (my rear window was all fogged up, grrr)

long story short, somehow got away without a ticket (i was ~25-30 over) and just got told to drive a less conspicuous car (as though my car sticks out)

should have gotten his badge number and name and got him into trouble. Whenever a cop does something like that to you, ream them hardcore. You could easily get out of the ticket and get that cop into trouble.

Yet another victim of the "Im harder than you" mantra. You can't label all WRX drivers as being cockheads, because i personally know a handfull who are quite the contrary. The worst drivers are indeed those with those piece of garbage early model switfs, rollas and lasers etc, who think if they put a set of chromies on their car and few subs in the boot and drive around like sik cu*tz, that they are invincible.

Some guy tailgated you ... you gave him the finger... he bashed your car.

I mean, personally I'd like to put a bullet in the head of all fully hardcores being tough so we can all live in a peaceful world where we can buy pizzas and not be rolled for them.. but really if you lay low you can avoid a lot too. Not sayin you're in the wrong but yeah.


I had a stupid P plater moment with similar hardcore like so.. I was driving down my local big suburban street, some sicko VL driver turned left into an off street to do a u-turn, I could see he wasn't looking for any cars so I slowed down. He indeed just U turned back onto the main road and I stopped (i was feeling polite)..

So instead of giving me a thank you wave, he tries to stare me down and actually SLOWS his car down (blocking all traffic) till his wheels get past my driverside window then he tried to chuck a burnout... meanwhile the screatching of the wheels made a 4 yr old girl on her bike have a near heart attack and since he drove off the father of the girl looks at me like im a fucking criminal.

Assholes.. ha.. but still.. makes me laugh these idiots, makes me feel better about myself everytime

Man, is it just me or do cops like to tailgate.
twice this has happend to me.

1. Driving home a HW patrol gets up my ass, didn't realise it was a cop untill i saw it under the lamp posts, and i hit the brakes cause i though i was gonna run a red. the lights turn green and he pulls me over.
issues a warning for havin the P plates on inside the car.

2. Cop was escorting me home after i'd been robbed (yeh, pizza deliveries are dangerous). shes tailgating me and pulls me over, asking if i'm ok, I was driving normaly...lol

2am on stoney creek its so dark i couldnt even see their yellow jackets on teh side of street pointing a radar on me, but i wasnt speeding so they got an undercover chaser on me, and boy was it tailgating me like mad, luckily i was only 1 min from home
