A siren in the cabin is a good idea though, it's bad enough when i stop, get out of the car and check the oil or somthing, the alarm does it's 'BIP!' thing after 30 seconds and just about blasts me eardrum out cos my heads in the engine bay....

well besides a 3 point immoboliser + quicktrak
nothing else would really help unless u get ir cameras on top of roof facing the doors like taxis~

but if someone really wants to steal a car, nothing can stop it

or just get a couple of mates and just wait til he comes back :)
and then belt the living sperm outta him and say it was self defence :D

Is it possible to find off street parking? I had a bluebird parked out the front for about a week and it got broken into once :(. A few days there and some fool comes along and pops the lock. Luckily they didn't steal anything or try and take the car, probably didn't realise it's crapy light green shell was hiding a CA18DET.

Hehe give you incentive to clear the vehicle quickley when you get to work, if the boss sees you he might think you are keen and proffessional or somthing.

Iain, you know how you said everytime you go to a SNSW event it gets broken into? Go to the next event... and get a couple of us around that night and we'll wait up with bats and stuff :P

yeah im in a nice area, yeah its been after SNSW events.

after the next event, i think ill be having a pizza and porn night for a few of you guys 'just in case' lol

if i caught someone doing this to mine or my neighbours, god help the guy! i dont think i could restrain myself. and yes it would be self defence and he would have had a knife. i know this because i would have seen it. and so did the people i was with, who just happened to be at my place when it happened :P

there are desireable cars in this society.
there are also thieves.
sometimes they meet and cars get stolen.
nothing new.

lock it up, arm the immobiliser, click the clublock, pay the carwatch monitoring fee, buy insurance, take our wheels off before we sleep.

there is only so much we can do.

cars, car thieves and mishaps are everyday occurances.

club locks are hopeless
theyll just bolt cut your steering wheel

i did like those snap off steerings tho

now that would make it harder for them to drive it off hahaha

yah. at least fo the idiots. pros bring their on snap ons.

they would've scouted the car. noticed the lack of a steering wheel and gone and bought/stolen :P a spare.

the snap on ones require a snap off fitting at the end of your steering wheel
and i think each brand is diffrent in some way

kinda like how a boss kit doesnt fit on all cars, diffrent snap off brand has a diffrent type of attachment

but ya they would have scouted your car but if its too much of a hassle then they would just move on to the next car :)
