Is it just me or are the VL/VN's at KK's on the weekend putting their's and other's at risk by doing "burnouts" in the car park? I know they want to show off their new VL to their friends.. but come on... there's other places to do that kind of thing  FULLY..... won't be funny when they do a ful sik hellie into a 200 or 180

ohhh but but I thought they were? The metality of doing burnouts in a carpark full of ppl and cars is what annoys me. May be the Silvias need to show them how it's done? (not at KK's) hehe   :P

HEHEHEHEHEHE cant bag a 1988 VL walkinshaw with a cam, keeps up with new 200sx and 03 wrx. And its just damm good fun to drive and best thing they hold there value, unlike all the jap cars at the moment.

a 1988 VL walkinshaw in original condition is worth a lot of money and has keep it's value very well.
They are also quiet fast.

man, i and most of my friends converted from holden v8s to turbos for a reason, they had there day up to early to mid ninties just before the jap onslaught, turbos are much quicker and easier to modify and power gained by simple bolt ons the holden can only dream.
for example with relative identical mods my s15 has more power than my mates clubby and pulls him easily i was aware of this when i owned a v8 myslef and new their time was up ( the old push rod 4 door ).
as for holding value are u kidding, falcons and commos are the worst cars for value, cheap as chips and plenty to choose from.

Comparing a VL walky to a normal standard edition nissan for resale isn't very fair. It's a specialist model, highly sought after. To do it properly I think we should use a genuine sil80 or a panda AE86 Trueno. Same type of fan cars.

Lets not turn this into a big messy argument. For every V8 I've seen at Maccas drivethrough acting like a dick I've seen a 4 cylinder doing the same, whether they be a ricebox or a nicely modded turbo import.

and for every one of those dickheads, you get a middle aged man in a V8 or import turbo too!

there is no definite line of who owns what. and yeah you cant compare those two cars lol
