my car got scratched once in the barker st carpark, dont know if it was a key or someone put their bag on my boot and scraped it around, but it resulted in quite a few scratches :(

when i have to drive my car to uni, i drive around till i find a spot on barker st next to the entrance so its in a very obvious place. it pisses me off that they changed those 4 parking spots next to the red centre from 2 hour parking to loading zone. they were MY spots! :(

dhc, find out who did it and send them over to see the builders at the fbe :)

i have had many cars (ok ones and shit ones). from time to time the current car would get damaged. broken window from radio theft, malicious keying, badging, plus other shit.

i get upset when it happens but understand that in today's society this happens and some people enjoy doing it. where there is crime there is victim. sometimes we end up being in this role. such is life.

i used to have a lancer gsr 4wd turbo 94 in 95 and loved it (back then kids were just driving eg civics with 15's). i refused to park it anywhere, noone could drive it but me and even insisted on watching when the mechanic serviced the car(out of distrust). 6 months after purchase i crashed due to poor driving and stupid gunning and cried (really!) for a few days and didnt even feel like eating for a week.
after some sad time it was all put behind me and i was like new again.

try to let it go at times. there will always be losses in life. the silvia is a nice car and might mean all the world to u now but it is just a car. if u cant deal with small losses how can u deal with, say, death of a loved one?

seriously, try to let it go. u 'll feel better.

yeah thanks for advice...i did let it go....but today i went around to get a few quotes...and its not fixable..a repsray is in order.

It wont rust cause it hasnt gone through to the metal but it has penetrated the clear coat. all up $500 for the two panels.

so now more than ever i wanna find the prick that done it and beat $500 out of him.....

oh and btw my car is not a silvia.... :o its a skyline. :)

$500 isnt too bad? what panels were done?

mine was quoted around $2k, bonnet drivers quarter, door and front guard.

when you see the guy, lets assume he did my car too. so beat 2k more out of him for me please

hey acids14...arent you the one that cameback to your car to find some little prick keying it and you beeped your alarm and subsequently beat the fuck out of him ?????

mate you shoud have bought a lottery ticket on that day.......fuck what i woudnt give to have been in your situation.....

what pisses me off is....its only two scratches....and JUST enough to go through clear coat so i cant buff it off....its a waste spending $500 to fix two scratches...

I know exactly how you feel, my wifes new car was keyed across the bonnet by some arsehole. I don't understand the mentality of people who do this, it was just a Civic for goodness sake.

Cheers

Patrick

If its some piece of shit you dont know, its prob just for "fun" or because their jealous of your ride.

if its someone you know....you prob pissed them off hard...but as a fellow car enthusiast you dont deserve that treatment !!!

either way people who do these things are FUCKED......
