As some of you may have seen my car is for sale.

And the amount of 16 year old i've had ring up, i just had one that went something like this
Him:"hey bro i'll give ya $5000"
Me: "Nah way to low, i'll go $8000 but not a cent lower"
Him: "your never going to get that bro i can get a silvia with a system, rims, kit and a sik zorst (yes he said sik zorst) for $5000"
Me:"Yeah a 1.8L auto that needs a paintjob"
Him:"Nah mate exactly like yours except that stuff
Me just really pissed off after just finishing work and dealing with this shit
"I dont really give a fuck mate, go buy that peice of shit then"

FFS i've had similar calls too and it's really really really shitting me off

And while i'm here does $8000 sound resonable for my car, looking on www.carsales.com and it's the cheapest 2L N/A on there and it's the only manual one?

Pretty good actually, a couple of tiny scratches, and the gearboot is a bit worn, other than that....

I wouldn't sell Kates for less than $8.5

It's pretty much the same as yours.

I just drove off shacking my head.
I really wanted to shhhlap him silly and shove my 9grand plus, engine parts reciept up his arse. but then id be on the news so I didn't :P

C'mon you know you gotta keep up with the jones's.
Why bother with saying I need another 5k....

You should of said to him, 'go about 1/4 mile down the road, wen I flick my lights, time how long it takes for me to run you over. Then we'll see if you need to spend another 5 grand'

yer 8k tends to be around the right price for a 2L man with no problems. if ur not urgent to sell it than leave it at 8 for a while and see how it goes. sold mine for a bit under 7 after the first week, shame that i got about 3 ppl enquire in the first week, took deposit at end of week on sat night, then from sunday onwards got about 15 enquiries about it before ad was removed the next week

if anyone says they can get same car cheaper elsewhere, ask them why the fuck they are ringing you when they should be riding their bicycle over to the guy selling it for $5k before some other 16 year old with a faster bike beats them to it.

I would ask for nine, with stock rims. I would be very surprised if I got it though. It still has the stock zorst you know... lmfao

I get similar experiences cause of the CA badge on the back of my car.

Its really nice when they get a rude shock being left behind and me trying to get good traction while still a lenght or two ahead :)

Some people are just thick...
