I get into work today and it's all good. At about 9:20 someone comes around to me and says "Do you know how to change a toner in my printer?" and I say yes. So she asks if I could please do it when I get a minute (note that she said when I get a minute, no urgently) so I say that is fine. I was in the middle fo soemthing at the time.

I get everything done and go to cehck out this printer to see what kind of toner it takes, and I go out in search of one. This is where we run into problems..... There were none. Every other printer in the fuckin place had a few sapres, but not this one.... Which shits me cause obvioulsy people are changing them themselves, which is ok but they arne't letting me know when the use one....

SO I jump on the phone to Canon to get some sent urgently and then I send the woman an email saying I'm having problems finding one but will change it as soon as I can. Then she comes around (hasn't looked at emails yet) and said "can you do it now, it's urgetn and we're billing today" so I mentioned that I had emailed her already and the situation adn she was not happy so I decided bugger being polite and said "Look <insert name> I've been trying to find this for you all morning. Obviously people have been using them without eltting me know, which makes it difficult in a situation like this" and she walked off.

Luckily someone had one under their desk, but the urgent ones haven't arrived yet, and the courier should be here by now...

Anywayu, this particular person appears to not handle stress very well...
/end bitch

You know if you shake the toner cartridge you should be able to get quite a few more pages out of it.
Also just incase you did not know, don't breathe that shit in and if you get it on you hands try to dust it off with a tissue or at worst wash it off with cold water, not hot!
Toner is carcenogenic(spelling) causes cancer and is easily absored into the skin.
I let the porpers on the helpdesk do it now, fuck going anywhere near that shit again.

Yeah I did shake the toner around, and still didn't get any more life out of it. Was completely empty!! I always dust the stuff off with a tissue ;) I used to change the toners all the time when I was a public servant of sorts for the Council where I sued to live, and now I have to do it again. Doesn't bother me too much though, jsut when they are pricks :)

Nah I'm not a public servant, I work in a law firm. Which is wose :(
Oh, and I never got a thank you for changing it.

 ROFL - show them who's boss ;)

I'm not sure of its exact composition, but if it's water soluable then GO FOR THE TISSUE!! You don't want that shit inside you :-? I've heard a lot of things as to whether it is or isn't carcinogenic, but like your mum said: "Better safe than sorry!" ;)
