I have searched the internet for books on the S13. Can you let me know where the workshop manuals are available from?

Thanks
Chris

There's an excellent little book shop military store styped thing in paramatta too - they have just about every workshop manual under the sun, and can order them in too. That was the only place I could find my n12 exa turbo workshop manual. Most places hadn't even heard of the damn car

Just be careful walking around the shop - it gives off a kinda creepy deliverance-typed vibe. You'll see.

I have downloaded the files from Silviaaustralia.com but I need RAR to expand them. As the owner manual was readable without ir but did not seem to be very useful (had advice on how to tow a front wheel drive and we all drive Silvia's etc as front wheel drive suck) I did not bother paying $29US to download RAR.

Mayhem if you could send them to me it would be great, otherwise I plan to come to Sydney on Sunday to go to my wifes sister in law's birthday party so if you want a chance to see the car. Did you like to photos I e mailed you?

If anyone has down loaded RAR and decided tha manuals are worth the $29US let me know.

Thanks
Chris

You dont need to get a registered version of WinRAR to open it... you can just use the demo version which can be downloaded from here: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar300.exe

If you want the manual on CD then I can burn it for you, I will be at the Norah Head criuse on sunday with everyone. Or I could simply snail mail it to you... only cost about $1.50 or something.

Thanks for the web site for RAR. I now have the manual ok. The manual says it is for a 200SX S13 1.8 but I assume most of the stuff will be relavent for a Silvia. I will probably be stuck with the in-law's on Sunday but in case I get some time where is Norah Head as it would be great to cruise past and meet some other Silvia owners.

Thanks again for helping me get the manual.
Chris

yeah, that manual is for the 180sx CA
most of it is still relevant if youre an SR but some of the wiring diagrams can differ. *looks confused* :-?
