Hey Thuan,

Sunday in about 2 weeks sounds good to me. Better start in the morning though, take a few hours. Do you need anything else done while i'm at it? Like brake pads, oil etc?

I'm in the Strathfield area. You can buy the gaskets if you want to, but your can't ask for 180sx gaskets because Nissan don't have a parts list for imports. You need to get a N14 pulsar engine to manifold gasket and 200sx manifold to turbo gasket.

hey One8tsx, I remembered you had 3 gaskets that you changed, you left out turbo to dump gasket in your last reply. Is that also from a 200sx ?

Well I am considering changing my brake pads, but when I took my car to get the power steer repaired they said the pads were fine, didn't feel like they were to me though. Any ideas on where I should get new good brake pads from ? I also have a disturbing cranking sound when I reverse (especially while turning and gets louder as I begin to brake. Would you know what that is and will you be able to help me with it too ?

You still haven't told me what or how much you wanted for the gaskets job ?

And Viet I agree, I say we meet up at Sefton playhouse for cruises !!

for brake pads try discpads.com.au theyre pretty cheap and u can order online too. One8tsx, i told u to just open up ur own workshop, ur getting customers already! hehe. You're fixing other people's cars but i heard ur bro has to take his mirage to someone else to get it serviced? How does that work?

Because you need to fill in the log books for the mirage! Maybe i should just make a stamp to stamp the log books aye?

I got bendix metal king brake pads atm, better than what was on there before. Just ring around for some prices.

Part numbers are:
Front: DB1232
Rear: DB284

Not sure about the cranking sound, hard to diagnose without hearing it.

As for the turbo to dump gasket, i have never seen one fail before. But i have a spare one that is in very good condition, i'll install this one if yours is busted so you don't have to buy one. Yep, it is a 200sx gasket.

How does $230 sound? Or $250 if you want your brake pads done aswell.

I've seen your car around QIK180, nice ride! Should go for a big silvia/ 180 cruise!
