Hi All,

i have recently installed a S14 Zenki JDM rear bar (no reflectors) on a S14 Series 2 ADM model and noticed the number plate (mine is the black letters on yellow back) cannot be screwed in to cover that hole/gap.

at the moment the number plate is screwed below the gap/hole, but i want to cover that hole with the number plate cant stand that hole above it. would those number plate relocation kits be useful in this situation??

wondering if anyone else ever did this to their s14 and had the same issue which was resolved!

Thanks guys! :D

have you tried bending the edges of the number plate in?

otherwise see if the slim line plates fit.

the number plates fit without the need to bend the edges (mine were bent to begin with 8) ) i just cant screw in the plates tightly enough so it holds, there is some plastic on both sides of the gap which the edges of the number plate can lay on but not enough room to screw it in.

i guess the number plates doesnt have to cover the whole gap, i might just try to get it to sit in the middle and again drill some more holes. :(

so i have the license plate issue fixed, (looking at some pics, most of the plates sit in the middle)

i realised the lights that illuminate the number plates are sticking out, looking at more pics 8) they arent meant to be showing.....
i'm going to try to pop them further up so its flush and unseen. any tips before i do this?

so much for getting mates rate job done, lesson learned.

Cheers guys!
