hey guys,

I took my car to the tuners (Hitman) the other day to have it taken a look at, it just hasnt felt the same lately.

He had a lil listen of it idling and looked throught the power FC hand controller whilst idling and the revs being held up. He said automatically that the O2 sensor was gone and needed replacing, thats why he said it probably felt like that.

He turned the O2 sensor off via the hand controller, the car didnt seem to change too much and he said it should be fine if not run slightly better with it turned off compared to it running with it fucked. He said he would then tune it when the sensor is replaced.

The question is!!! - will it do any damge with the O2 sensor turned off or anything bad. Hitman said it would be fine. Does any one know? and does anyone have a new one i could buy? hahaha

as long as the tune is good it should be fine running with it turned off. You'll probably just lose a bit of fuel economy in cruise.

Depending on which type you have now, this might work:

or one of these is a direct plug in as long as it's the right thread: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Two-Nissan-O2-Se ... 108wt_1139

Buy the pair and I'd buy the spare from you :P

Chances are the 180 will have the small size sensor, which is different.

Most aftermarket dump pipes have the right hole for the large sensor though, which would fit.
I've used both types before and they seem to work on S13s

O2 Sensor won't do squat all damage, it's purely for coasting and idling. On load the fuel mixture and is purely off the map
