Anyone got any good pics of plumb back bov setup?

From memory they an S15 for example has a crossover pipe in front of the motor to put it back into the passenger side piping.

On my car I put one on the hot pipe from the turbo to cooler, with the output going straight into the intake pipe from the AFM to turbo.

It sits between the two pipes quite neatly (I used an RB20 BOV with slight mods)

S14/15 BOV with the internal bypass hole blocked is probably the best option

Cheers for throwing that up, so it goes back into the intake behind the filter?

To easy, need to find some 30mm and 35mm pipe to mount this thing now.

stock computers don't like flutter, seems that the ECU understands when there is air coming back out the intake with a plumped back BOV but not when there's nothing. Without a BOV the air comes back out in "packets" - I use that term loosely vs a consistent air flow of a plumped back unit.

Saying that using an aftermarket ECU, I have been able to tune it so with no BOV or atmospheric there's no idle flutuation, back fires, loads of smoke, etc.

I think the problem has more to do with the design of the afm. The CA18DET series of S13 (for example) didn't come with a plumb back BOV, but at the same time the hot wires were not in the center of the afm (like the Z32 one for instance), they were recessed in a little space off to the side so that they weren't effected by the 'flutter'.
