Need some advice so I buy the right friggin clamps.

Just doing some intercooler piping on my dads car, it's 2.5 inch all the way except the TB.

With a silicon hose on there and a set of verniers over that, it measures 73mm.

My question is, do I go and buy the t-bolt clamps that say they fit 68 - 73mm

Or get the ones that fit 73 - 78mm etc?

From previous experience if you get the big ones, if the bolt is straight they generally tighten in a non circular way and make your pipe look like an oval shape.

I just don't have the time to get up to a shop to check them out during the week otherwise I'd just take a bit of piping and silicon up there instead of buying online.

I'd use the normal worm drive style clamps (just get good ones with rolled edges, etc)

The t-style ones spread the load out too much and don't tighten as round, so they're not worth the hassle in my opinion.
