Hi,

I am buying a braided line kit for my redtop sr20det with bush bearing T28. I am looking at a couple of ebay kits, has the water inlet and return and oil inlet hoses. 1 kit has them in 4AN fittings the other has 6AN fittings, would there be any benefit of fitting 6AN hoses or is this just wank factor. Also which would be a comparable size to stock metal lines? If the standard is closer to 4AN Im not sure if I could cause extra wear or damage to the turbo by supplying too much oil.

BTW this is for a track car so will have the tits reved off it.

Cheers

-4 is the closest to the stock size.

On my old oil cooled plain bearing turbo i ran a -4 line. For ball bearing ones i use a -3 as they need less oil. It still supplies more than enough though.

-6 is about right for the water lines
