My car just recently, is starting to push coolant out the overflow bottle in a big way just happened this week. I basically need to top up the radiator whenever i go for drive.

Ive checked hoses around the back of engine and along side and they seem fine as does the main hoses near radiator unless i missed something. Im scared it could be a headgasket but the oil and water havent mixed and its not blowing any bubbles.

There is coolant dripping from below the radiotor but i dont think thats the source of the problem.

Could it be a malfunctioning thermostat or water pump? Im getting it taken to my mechanic on tuesday to get it diagnosed.

Is this a common problem in the ca18 motors? Ideas advice would be greatly appreciated. :D

I had the exact same problem with my car.
Took it to Louie at Drift Garage because I couldn't find it and another mechanic team couldn't.
Turned out my water pump had started leaking.

I recommend taking it to a mechanic and getting a compression test done.
I also recommend Drift Garage if you are in Western Sydney as they do a great job!

Good luck!

could be your radiator cap pressure regulating abilities

it's a cheap replacement, so you could start there
