Hi guys. i was wondering if anyone could help me out on this.
my s14a has been lowered and since this has happened the car chews through tyres like there's no tomorrow.
i took the car into the local tyre store for a wheel alignment only to be informed that the adjustments from the car will not allow the wheel to sit verticle.

i had been informed to go and purchse/fit ADJUSTABLE LOWER REAR CONTROL ARMS. but the thing im not sure about is on the vehicle the arm has 3 points. and i have been searching vigourously all over ebay for that adjustable after market version with no success.

could any1 please bump me in the right direction???? thanks

ps: as undrivable as the car is at the moment with about 5degrees of TOE-IN and chewing tyres. it makes awesome fun drifting.... :D :P :P :P

you don't need adjustable rear lower control arms..

If you want to correct rear toe you need adjustable lateral link (rear toe arms) which looks something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/JDM-Performance- ... 2eac572456

but if it's a camber problem you need adjustable rear upper link (rear camber arms) - example http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-200SX-S14 ... 1e5affedca

BTW there are adjustable rear lower control arms on ebay but I don't believe its what you need http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-S14-S15-R ... 1e59d12514

and ps personally I wouldn't buy any of these adjustable arms from ebay

the reason why i have so much toe in is because the guy doing the wheel alignment asked what i would rather have.....
1: even wear, but an unstable ride, or
2: uneven wear, but a more stable ride...

so i whent for option (1)

im beginning to think that the 3rd link that you posted looked like what i need more so than the others. reason being is because it is a camber issue, not a toe issue....

where do you recommend i purchase the parts from if not off ebay?
thank you your information is very helpful...

from what you mention you want the second picture.

i'm in the same boat as you. lowered the car on coilovers and not to to get camber arms. 999 automotive have KLS ones for 125 on ebay. not sure bout the quality though.

S14s are particularly susceptible to excessive camber change on the rear end when lowered.

Basically, the only way to avoid the problem is to keep the ride height sensible.

You can help correct the camber with aftermarket adjustable arms, but the geometry will still be out of whack and the car won't handle anywhere near as well as standard.
