The lower bushes in my rear HSD HR coilovers have seen better days, and I'm after some replacements. Has anyone replaced these before? I can get new lowers (complete, not just the bushes) for $160 a pair from Otomoto, but i'd rather just replace the bush. If anyone knows any other types that will fit let me know. Otherwise i'll just have to trawl some urethane bush catalouges and see what i can find! Thanks. p.s. S13 rears, but probably the same on some others. |

How are they seated though? If I remember correctly they had some sort of silicon or glue which held it in place, I gusess you will need to find a suitable replacement for this too to reduce the chances of it coming unstuck |

Urethane stuff is typically two part and flanged so you push it in from either side. Rubber is often in a steel shell which is press fitted. |

Ah ok, well if I remember correctly its rubber with the metal sleeve as mine started to fuck out in the 31 a couple years ago, hopefully you can find a urethane replacement |

Yeah, most OEM stuff is. Usually you rip the rubber out, cut the metal sleeve and slide that out then put urethane in. If worst comes to worst you can machine custom bushes from urethane and make crush tubes to suit, depends on how keen you are to save cash. |
