Post subject: | HDi intercoolers? |
Hi, just wondering if anyone has heard or has experience regarding the HDi intercoolers? Wanting to 'upgrade' as the one I have now is some unknown (and possibly Chinese) brand... Any kind of information is greatly appreciated! |

What makes you think HDI aren't chinese? 90% of what's out there is cut down truck core made in china. the only stuff that's better is name brand japanese gear, which costs twice as much...for a reason. Justin... |

fast fours did a write up about HDi coolers. fitted to a Wrx. they gave it pretty good comments and there was a big thumbs up to fitment and their special hose clamps. |

Thanks for all the reply guys. There's a lot of mixed info about these intercoolers, might as well opt out for a GReddy?? What are you guys using at the moment? |

I currently have a 400x300x100 greddy in the track car as i got it cheap but previously used china cores with no issue. I've always had custom piping though so can't comment on the kits. |

How does the two compare though, Dave? I'm using a china core..no issues yet but i feel very uneasy on long drives.. As you can probably tell from my comments..this is my very first turbo so i still have a lot to learn..sorry if i sound noobish! |
