Heya,

I have an apexi ex gate which has the 2 vacuum fittings, currently I am only running one vacuum hose and no boost controller (16psi) this is a little laggy.

I want to go EBC to reduce lag, anyone know which ones are good enough to do the job, I would pref use something cheap(ish) like a second hand jap one. However the EBC needs to be able to use both vacuum lines on the ex gate.

Recommendations?

Any blitz ebc from the original dsbc on will do it well.

You can usually pick them up pretty cheap as they aren't flashy like the later models.

My early dsbc can be set to external mode with a dip switch on the back, i use both ports on the ex gate.

Boost control is excellent. I only have a .7bar sping in my gate and it only loses 1psi over the rev range when set around 21psi peak. Dyno graph on the last couple of pages of hello kitty's build thread.

the greddy profec a/b 1 & 2 will do the job fine as well

holds 14psi pretty flat with a 7psi spring in the ex gate.

Haha, looks like I never checked out my boost controller setup, it turns out it was running a cheap boost bleed tee with about 1.2 metres of extra vac line. No wonder I only have a power band of 2000rpm.

I now have a blitz dsbc, should be in by the weekend :D
