I'm hoping someone can help.

I have an entire R32 GTR rear cradle, diff, axles, brakes etc etc that i want to swap into my 180sx. Currently the tailshaft is mating up to the factory 1989 CA18 DET LSD. Is there a yoke say an S15 etc that i can swap on the R32 GTR diff that will allow a direct bolt up?

What i do know is when we put a R33 GTST diff into my mates CA18 DET manual Silvia we needed to fit an S15 Yoke to the R33 GTST diff to allow it to mate up with his tailshaft.

I'm trying to avoid a custom tailshaft and was hoping someone had performed this swap or has some relevant info.

Any useful info would be greatly appreciated.

Thats a good question on the tailshafts??? I assume its an R200 at the moment but in all honesty i'm taking a stab in the dark. It's been about 3 years since i've worked on the car and figured the time has come to get it back on the road. Hence why i'm a little unsure of what's what anymore. What i do know is the diff should be stock and fitted to a 1989 180sx CA18 DET Auto and it's an LSD for sure.

I found out that if you put a GTR diff in an S14 you just need to swap the yokes over to mate up with the tailshaft. So the question remains do i have an R200? How different are S13, 14 and 15 yokes??? Just hoping to hit on the right combo rather than spending the next X number of weeks trying to track down multiple yokes if one even exists to suit.

Any info on the above would be much appreciated

Hmmm interesting that there all the same pattern.

I'm thinking there must be a difference in length or how the yoke sits around the front of the diff housing though.

I remember swapping the yoke over to an S15 instead of an S13 when we installed the R33 GTST diff in his car. Unfortunately the exact details i've forgotten.

As for the R200 question? I think i'll stick my head under tonight and take a couple of snaps.
