Hey guys,

ive got a 180 making 185rwkw that i took to the skid day

Now that when i drive it on the road under hard acceleration the back feels like it wants to step out all the time and i need to steer into it. driving constantly at low speeds or high speeds doesnt make it pull, its only when ur accelerating hard.

it has teh stock S13 viscous LSD and i was wondering if maybe its died?

we had an xr6 turbo came in with a blown diff, it makes loud crackles everytime it moves and also drives and feels like it has a slipping clutch

i had a seperate set of tyres at the back for the skids, so i dont think its a tyre problem

it also feels like its down on power - not really sending everything into the wheels that it used too...

i dont think my diff is making any noise though - ill give it another spin later and try to see if i can pick anythign else up

Back in the day with my silvia, I tend to notice that under acceleration ie doing idiotic things with wet tarmac and a roundabout, that it was immediately step out. With vigorously playing with the clutch it felt like an openwheeler.

how hard are you accelerating when you "need to steer into it"? are you talking in terms of wheelspin, steps sideways, then countersteer?

or are you just talking about an increased feel of the rear wheels..... driving you?
