did you tune it once you installed the fuel pump ?

how is your air mass meter or air flow meter, (the lil electronic device that is connected just after your air filter

clean your throttle with carby cleaner and a toothbrush
start and check again

disconnect your idle control and see how it runs then, if it runs better, it's the idle control, if its still crap, then it's not the problem

sorry im just giving you odd steps to try with no definite answer, just lots of trial and error

clean AFM

check your plugs

change fuel filter

could have a leak somewhere too. check all hoses and joiners.

dont need a tune for a fuel pump but if you have changed injectors then you will

is your fuel pump re earthed why did they change the fuel pump did they measure the fuel pressure and flow and it was low? if they measured before fuel filter has something to do with pump and lines to the tank or if they measured after the filter could be blocked

wow this problem sounds gay

well the easiest way to test coilpacks is to let the car run and pull out each one individually

if the car runs worse when you pull it out, then put it back in, that's not the problem
BUT if you pull out a coilpack and there's no change in the idle, that ones the problematic one

another issue could be blocked injectors, best way is to pull them out and send them to a mechanic to get them serviced, about 20bucks each MAX

or if you really want, just get higher flow injectors while you're at it =D
