ok guys, really stumped on this one.

engine wise, im running an rb25 afm, 550cc injectors, nistune ecu, t28. (been running fine for 2 months)
it all started when i took out my turbo to replace a gasket.

-put it all back together, plug everything up, started it, then runs like its on 2 cylinders with black smoke billowing from the exhaust.
-check afm wiring, all correct.
-check connection to ignitor, ok
-check coilpack connections, ok
-test my afm on another car, ok
-check spark- all fouled up, covered in fuel, bought new spark plugs.
-check ecu connection. ok
-clean afm. ok
-check cooler hoses/vacuum lines. ok

then i decided to plug stock afm with stock ecu back in, fired up beautiful.
re-plug the rb25 afm back in wit the nistune ecu, fired up beautiful, drove around perfectly fine.

start it 2 days later, back to square one. runs on 2 cylinders.
eventually stops running on 2 cylinders and just cranks but doesnt fire.
re-checked everything as above checklist, all ok.
re-plug standard afm and standard ecu, no go. same deal. crank but no fire.

so what i gather is;

-its getting fuel because the plugs get covered in petrol. fuel pump primes on accessories too.

-afm and the associated wiring is fine. (i start it with the afm unplugged and it is very slightly different; the ecu definitely recognises it is unplugged)

-spark- have not yet checked to see if it arcs onto the rocker cover yet, nor have i replaced the ignitor.

but if spark and ignitor turns out ok, what else could be the issue?
are these symptoms of a stuffed ignitor?

thanks, any help appreciated.

if it only happened when u replaced the turbo will have to do with something around that area so most probably you bumped the ignitor check around that area but by the sounds of it getting no spark cause the plugs are fouling up

oh shi*t man, its happening again.
see you can borrow a ignitor off someone just to test and see how that goes.
shouldnt be too hard to track one down.

check for spark first as the easiest u can do atm. hope your coilpacks arent fked

did you remove the cas at all or might be faulty you will still get spark but at the wrong time if your cas is out

Pull the plugs and look at which ones are wet
