I recently bought a s13 and noticed the fuel gauge doesn't work properly. This isn't normally a problem because I just use the kilometers clock as a guide. However the last tank only gave me 300km. That seems pretty poor to me. Does someone know an expected figure for a NA s13.

City driving with lots of stop start or country driving with long drives at constant revs?

How 'spirited' are you driving?

300kms ain't right though. I was getting ~500kms from my NA sr20 back in the day with city driving in peak hour.

Nah city driving. But no lead foot or redline gear changing.

Check the oxygen sensor (located on the exhaust manifold).

Most S13s have never had them replaced, and they can certainly contribute to poor fuel consumption.

i got mine from taark on ns.com

just take yours out and measure how big it is, or read the part number to know which one.

to test it, you need a multimeter and it gives you readings from 0v to 1v depending if you on wot or not.
