i know whiteline sell the spherical rod end link but my main queries were;

1) where does this rod end link attach to in the rear end since there are no factory holes/mounting points
&
2) am i able to use a standard rod end link from the same model that did come with a swaybar from factory? (ie: use a rod end from a s13 DET in a S13 DE)

If you are talking about S13s they don't have a rod end link in the rear. It's simply this style of swaybar to control arm link:

I have a Silvia Q and I just bolted an R32 GTR swaybar into the back of it using the GTR links.
And a random pic i found of an S13 rear end with sway.

i used s13 as an example but its going into a skyline.
sydneykid from sau.com confirmed that it can be just bolted in.
