Hi,
Just trying to install some rear spring in my car (the blue ones in the picture) though I am unsure which way is UP. The standard spring has the plastic sleeve on the bottom and masking tape on the second coil from the bottom.

if you sit the spring into the shock,it's going to be pretty obvious pretty quickly - the loose bottom coil sits on the bottom,up against the taper on the bottom spring seat.
in case that didn't make sense to you,the closer together coils in this case go to the top.
