So, I went to a dyno day today. Got awesome power (IMO) for what has been done to the car.

BUT, there was a problem. My afr's are out of wack. Attached is the dyno sheet and I'm on the verge of detonation (so the dyno guys say). Starts at 14.5 on the left and to about 12.3 on the right of the graph. What do I need, along with an estimated price, to fix this.

Modifications are cat-back pod and boost pill removal. I was running 95 and was told to go 98 octane, but unsure if that will fix it. Was also told to upgrade my fuel pump.

Discuss..

well why not try using 98 for a little while, then dyno again
that's the cheapest option..

You should be running 98 as you have increased the boost

That will raise the detonation threshold.

The afr's are fine.

Yea, I didn't expect that much so hence using only 95. Will be using 98 from now on. And will chuck in a fuel pump soon and get another dyno.

Would me tapping into the fpr line for my boost gauge cause the afr's to be higher than normal?

not unless there is a significant leak at the tee causing the reg to see a lower pressure than it should.

lol, what made you use 95 in the first place? tight on money or someone told you to use that.

should get turboback, fmic, bit more boost and you'll notice a big diff in the car.
