ohh also check if you have a externally venting BOV, it might be stuck a little open and causing a stall under some load

^^ i dont think the BOv has anything to do with it, if the car is just sitting there idling and the car stalls when lights are turned on. Definately should be electrical. Current draw stalling the ignition system, most probably coz alternator not keeping charge..

but who knows with fking cars man they do my head in i dunno why im an enthusiast its a fking curse lol

If i had to guess i would think.... that the alternator is chargeing just enough to run the car and just charge the battery but extra load kills it... so check the charge rate altanator is probly fucked and the battery is probly half fucked....

i had similar issue, my wiring to the alternator needed to be replaced, and the switch in the dash near the stalk for the headlights was overheating causing power surge and car to lose power cut out for a nano second...

auto elec put in a relay to take load off the switch and now shes sweet, i can use headlights, stereo, etc happy days...

i cant remember the name of the switch for the life of me.. but check that out... take off the casing on the steering column and have a feel see if its hot then could be your problem
