Hey everyone,

Well 2 days ago my car wouldnt start up. I suspected the fuel pump as it was cranking but
i couldnt hear the fuel pump surging when starting up.

Towed it to the mechainc's had the pump changed, started up fine. Got home turned it off
tried to start it again and nothing.

It's cranking, and i can hear the fuel pump surging.
sparks all seem okay.

ill be going back to mechainc's but i need to work so it's going have to wait till the weekend.

btw car is redtop sr20det.
minimal mods.

Am i missing anything? can anyone shed some light on this?
Cause riding a motorbike to work in this weather is just adding to my frustration.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's quite possibly a dodgy electric system. Have you changed anything recently? An alarm perhaps?

Try wiring power directly to the pump and see if the car will run for an extended period.

rather than running new wire why not check the voltage at the pump first.
