does it fit flush cause i dont want to use any sikaflex.

also on the bottom of the skirts there are a few tabs which look like the bolt in. would i need to drill holes for these?

No.

Without the bodykit, the typeX is identical to the older versions..

Older versions could get the factory "aero" skirts as an option - typeX just came with skirts by default.

There are no modifications necessary, and you hardly even need sicaflex (my skirts were put on using no screws at all, only the tabs in the door, and they sit perfectly)

- 2 tabs in the door,
- 3 tabs under the sill,
- 2 screws in the front wheel arch
- 2 screws in the rear wheel arch
- Small dot of silicone/double sided tape on the flaps near the door if necessary

Nothing custom required.

once you get the skirts, itll be clear..

they have a bit of metal that bends around the seam, then a bolt tightens against it (not through it)

In the doors, the plastic runners hold the upper tabs in place.
