Hey guys, i got a defect and i need it cleared i cant find a stock Silvia muffler anywhere so im going to get another cars muffler from the cat, with the same piping... So what piping is the stock Silvia?

did your car fail for noise or EPA? For Noise If you used 1 / 3/4th or 2" piping it would do the job. Obviously you need a muffler that will bring it below the legal limit (90db i think). Any exhaust shop should be able to source an appropriate muffler for you.

TBH the pipe size shouldn't matter, if you have a big restrictive muffler.

yea i failed the test i got 107Dbs, i'v been trying soo hard to find one i think i found one but the guy wants $260 for a second hand muffler just muffler not from cat :( i dont think thats worth it ... and he said its not in good condition.... i don't want ti rusting through on me :(.

i got a stock 180sx one from turbo back u can have for $500. need money for a full service.
