Hey people, i may have to get a new turbo for my S13 SR20DET in the very near future and im on a very tight budget so i was wondering what everyone would reccomend and what kinda prices i'd be looking at??? any opinions on turbo choice would be great as well

Basically im looking at either a Ball Bearing T28 from a late model S14/S15, or possibly a rollerbearing T3 from a RB25 or VG30DET. Yeah i know i'll need a custom manifold for the T3 as well.

Thanx in advance

Go to the silvia part and check the wrecked S15 and find the wrecker for the T28bb off that bolts on. Posted by KosS so ask him. Or Autodisposals see banner on front page.

Hey Diffusion,

Exactly what is "Tight budget" the turbos you mentioned are not exactly the cheap variety.

For reference I paid $450 for my 97 200sx T28 (NON BB). BB versions are going to me more expensive of course. ICQ me if you want some more info.
