um its sort of abandonned.. it works, and is fully functional.
I have a working version in my car with the screen mounted where the clock was in my cluster...

reason its semi abandoned is i couldn't find a suitable and affordable housing for the screen and circuit, so really couldnt provide a finished product that would be sellable.

yeah an enclosure for a custom thing in small quantities is always the hardest...i know 80% of my time on the ecutalk lcd has been related to the enclosure.

thats a pitty, was looking forward to this..

shouldve gone through with it still! i wouldve bought it even without an enclosure and built it into my dash.

oh well

that was an option, have the main unit enclosed but the screen bare.

but i didnt want to have to deal with people that bought kits then damaged the screen mounting it in the car or by mishandling.

to make a product, it has to be idiot proof.

im thinking of getting back into it. but as my supplier no longer stocks the chip i was using, im going to have to port the code and I wasnt that happy with the last pcb i did... so i think im going to redo that also.
