Someone suggested to me in another post to check the timing on my car for problems. Now I assume that this is not something I can do myself, and requires special tool(s). If so, does it require dyno time???

How are changes actual made on an SR20DE? Surely the programming of the ECU doesn'e have to change, just an external reference such as a CAS. Can I do this myself for a short period of time as a test???

Just looking to clear some confusion over the matter...

Michael

go to SR20DE.net and thats all about the DE but same procedure for timing.
use a timing light. $30-$50 from auto one/repco. youll use it again.... worth the money.
