I know most cars have a distrib to distrib the spark and i know our beautiful s13's have the spark on each spark plug, but i was wondering where do i connect a tacho too?? Which wire is the one to say time to spark etc?? :D

that will depend on the tacho.
if it has an inductive pickup (ie, clips over a plug lead) then there's a loop fo wire on the back of the head (comes out of the coil pack wiring loom) which is an inductive trigger for tacho's / timing lights.
If it it the connect-to-the-low-voltage-side-of-the-coil type, then you'll have to connect into either the coil pack wiring, or the signal from the ECU.

yep, might be..
I think the factory tacho output is a variable voltage though, and not a pulse, which most tachos need.
If so you'll have to connect to the RPM signal pin, as opposed to the actual tacho pin.

Well the shift light thing i got from jaycar can have four different inputs which are low voltage signal, points, the hall effect or the distrib so i think the output from ecu can go to the low voltage input.? Well i will find out today anyway heheh
:D
