Hi i was just wondering if anyone can tell me which make or model bov makes a noise like a horse or a pigeon (if u know what i mean)
i cant seem to find info on it anywhere or webpages to download bov sounds, so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

hehe .. sorry thats just a funny description of how you described it .
from what i know .. the HKS SSQ BOV tend to make a more fluttering sound than say the Turbosmart range ..

Hi i thought the HKS SSQV made more like a high pitch whistle sound rather than ahorse kinda sound.. yeah i know its a pretty stupid description but you know what i mean dont ya?
anyway would really appreciate any help

that "pigeon" sound ur talking about comes out of the airfilter.
when ur on low boost say 1-4 psi and u release the throttle the butterfly closes and the air is forced back through the piping and the turbo, making the fluttering sound.
Not good for turbo in the long run, but sounds cool.
but when ur on full boost u get a nice ptttssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

shit, i should also tell u that a pod filter does this.
