I have a complete S15 top-end at home and was wondering if it can be dropped onto an S13 block... I personally don't think so, but hoping somebody can shed some light on the situation... If not S13 bottom end, how about S14? They should be easier to get.

Cheers

Anthony

You will need:

stickytape
large hammer
angle grinder

but seriously never heard of this done before, you could be on to some super upgrade. i know the atmo heads are a good upgrade with bigger cams and such....... just an idea! i am almost certain the s15 head will bolt on to s14 bottom end.

true! i would definetly look into the atmo head conversion, what i have heard it is a substantial upgrade-just like CA16DE cams go into the CA18DET etc.

One thing to remember is that the DET head has sodium filled valves etc. I think the best idea is just using the cams from the DE... but then again a set of 256-286 HKS ones would be even nicer

dont forget the DE throttle body is bigger too! it would be awesome to make a hybrid SR from the best of all the OE parts.

S15 head will not fit on a S13 block. The S14 and S15 heads are slightly different due to VCT.
