Last night when driving at high speed, high revs eg 110 in 3rd gear my oil light kept coming on, and Im pretty sure performance was decreased aswell.
Yes I have checked my oil level and its full.
Does anyone know what could be causing this. I thoguth it *might* be a faulty oil pump.
Help plz

I owuld have to think along the same lines as you with it being the pump but just check the connection to make sure that its not loose and there is no crap on its worth checking out as it may save you money and with the car having EFI if it gets a bad reading even when the reading is incorrect it can hurt your cars performance

the oil pump is deep down inside your motor on the end of the crank! IE: NOT ACCESSIBLE. Im pretty sure if it was faulty your motor would be seized by know. it could be your oil pressure switch which is easily accessible on a hoist, if in doubt speak to a mechanic.
