my mate and i spent 4 hours yesterday fitting front splits, rear splits , wiring and installing a 4 - channel amp along with my 9450 head unit and 7 inch motorised dvd player. now he made a box for me for the pair of subs and it wouldnt fit!!! the boot is just way too small. anyone fitted a pair of 12's before without having to go custom or fibreglass??? |

I don't have an S15, but I do have a 180, and I would've thought the bootspace in the 180 would be smaller. Anyway, what i'm trying to say is that I had 2x 12" subs in jaycar boxes sitting pretty in my boot.. |

Really, i would have thought adding twin 12" subs into a 180 boot space would be a walk in the park. Id even put 4 in |

You can fit two 12" subs in with a sealed enclosure but you'll lose most of your boot. Is there a reason you want two and not one dude? Given the right amount of power a single 12 can blur vision. |

Yeah. I have to agree with FHRX. Even though i've got XPLOD's, I recently took one out and the bass is still pretty powerful, and much better defined |

Ohh yeah, I should've mentioned: I had both subs wired up in parallel to 2 bridged 250W channels. Now it's just got the one getting pimped by 500W |

These days my sub box stays out of the boot, but when double demerit comes around....its handy to just wind up the bass |
