welcome to the forum FHrx, if you guys want any advise he is a guy that you should listen to, and yes i totaly agree..for a decent sound forget 6x9's totaly

I never actually finished this off with the pics of the tweeter install etc. But it is the best, neatest way IMO to put splits in a sil/180..

i just finished installing new 6.5 2way eclipes in the back and a set of rockford fosgate 6x9's in the doors, sounds pretty good at the moment but its only running of the head deck so when i could be stuffed putting my amp in it should sound even better :D

sorry bout the lateness of my reply but better late then never :lol:

you take the door trim off, then take the old grill out followed by the old pop that used to house the old speakers. after doing this you have to cut a couple of mm out of the door trim so you can fasten the 6x9's to the doors. its all pretty easy, it was harder trying to get the speaker cables thro the doors....lol. they sound alright but theres too many air gaps so they dont end up sounding the greatest but 6x9's in the doors must realy only be there for wank factor anyway...lol :lol:
