I bought a couple of 12 inch subs and found out that there is not alot of room in the boot of the S13. The diameter of the subs is more than the hieght avalable. So I came up with a design to fit the boot and also look the part. I am thinking about making them to sell at a fair price and would like expressions of interest.
The material is MDF. It was highly recomended for its density. I used 12mm board for the prototype, but the average 12" sub needs approx 20mm. Both the thickness and the volume/capacity will depend on the brand and model of your chosen sub.
I will post pics as soon as i work out how... Not very pc wise I'm affraid

Around the $200 mark (sealed) or $230 ported.

To accurately quote I need to know the make and model of the sub so I can look the specs up on the net.

I really have no idea how much it will cost to make, as I no longer work where I was getting the board for free.

Is the $200 for the box as shown in the pic, or carpeted as stated in the post?

I'm confused! :D j/k

Thats a good point, i dunno if he thought of that.

I am pretty sure he just wants to make sure he covers cost of the materials, anything extra will be a bonus.

If you want a genuine quote and are serious... post what type of subs you have. Then he can price everything and come up with a solid price.

Cheers, Graham
