Going to go double check but it looks like they have lowered the agreed value and the premium... bleh!

I had my car insured with Famous a while back. They weren't bad. Quick to process the claim however after 1 accident the premium went up form about $2500 to $6000 per year. After a claim they obviously didn't want to insure my car stating that a S13 silvia was worth more than a S14A.

I used their preferred repairer. Got my car back with a rag inside the throttle body as well.

Car: none yet
have you tried budget direct? ~$2000
I spoke with the broker at zippy and the quotes ranged from $2000 - $5000.

I think AAMI was the highest

99 jap spec S15 costs $1800 or so for a 31 year old with 1 accident at fault this year. That's complete write off and buying another S15 but more before the accident.

My type x 180sx is $1300 in comparison with 20K in mods.

I got told by Justcars, the Monaro and S15 were the worst cars to insure as they have the most accidents and stolen claims.....I'd agree with that...

im with Shannons, however the car is listed in my dads name, he's 55, no acco's in 30 years, and hes paying $2500... not including majority of mods! Everywhere else quoted him around 3k. Im listed as the 2nd driver, and I had an acco 3 years ago.

If it was in my name, Shannons quoted me $6000...Rediculous

Was with LSV, cost $1450 for insured value of 22k.

Got the renewal and it went up to $2034, asked the broker why, he said lot's of claims for this car and get's into lot's of accidents. Like I don't hear that already.

So now: 27 yr old, max no claim bonus, no accident in the last 5 years.
Shannons $1713 for insured value of 22k.
