So I was right about the placement of the boost guage back on page 1 then......

Seems people jump to conclusions around here, if something is done different, everyone assumes it's wrong.

I like the way the 200sx is, it does it's job, it goes alright, and it sounds good as well.

Very true. Without sounding immodest, people that know me sometimes query me on why and how I do things, but they seldom insinuate I'm haven't a clue what I'm doing...*shrug*

I don't remember saying you were wrong, I had assumed it was a boost gauge as well, just that your explanation was rubbish, even it was for the most part correct. There are some things I'll never understand, a boost gauge under the bonnet for whatever reason is one of them.
Oh and don't get me started on your justification for not running an air filter..... I'd feel sorry for your car if it wasn't a ca.

I guess the fact that this s15 is promoting your business means that having an edge or something different is a good thing, but it doesn't mean its practical or "right".

If your happy with it, then its not going to matter what we think or say anyway.

It's painfully obvious some people are still not reading the text. Within the text that goes with the photos on the website and on the previous page of this thread I have explained which filter I use.

Just to save people going back to read it, I'll say it again:

The car has a filter sock over the intake. It is not is these photos but if people are that perplexed I can post a photo of the filter!

Sorry to get the bold typeface out but hopefully this will be the last time the blasted filter is discussed. I was only trying to give people ideas of what can be done in S15's, not start a typed brouhaha.:(

Hehe, my explanation for not running an air filter was stretching the boundaries, but my CA was only filter-less for about 1 hour....

Anyways, my CA is gone now, replaced by a 1JZ GTE.

damn people, fhrx is just showing his car for our viewing pleasure!!! sure everyone has different preferences and tastes but we shouldnt get nasty over that. and like previously stated, not all s15's have to be stripped of their interior and made to set the fastest track time or watever. this one is for people who like a bit of everything and i appreciate it! nice tidy install. im coming to you when i buy an s15. for now im happy to install my splits myself lol. thats my 2cents.

edit: and i just saw the time stamps on these posts... bit late haha my bad... oh well
