I was implying in my first post that this is a fairly pointless thread. Not all headunits use these codes, but thats not the point. The colour codes are fairly basic. Red-power, black-ground, speakers, big antenna cable, etc. And if you cant work them out on your own, you probably shouldnt be installing it.

I thought the post was about the colour codes of the loom in the car that your wiring into...not the colour codes of the new headunit wiring loom

This doesn't seem to be the same for an S15

This is a picture of my S15 - Spec R loom that plugs into the factory
6 disk stacker.

As far as I can see, the wires into the connecter are (if u look at the loom front on from left to right)

grey/grey black
white/white black

purple
yellow
orange
red

blue/blue black
green/green black

==================
i'm assuming the ones with a slash are speaker connections
(front L = white/white black)
(front R = grey/grey black)
(rear L = green/green black)
(rear R = blue/blue black)

so that leaves me with
purple, yellow, orange and red

i need to know the
Constant Power
Ignition Power

can anyone help out??

notice thats the single plug (from the HU) going into the two plugs that attaches the rest of the loom?

after those two plugs are the standard colouring
