Wondering if any guys had an idea as to why my stock cd player in my S15 won't let me do anything.

ITs reading error wont allow me to reject cd, play radio or anything.

Any ideas as to what to do to get it back to working order.

ive tried reading in the manual, but says nothing what so ever about this type of Cd player fault/error as its flashing for me.

cheers all, any help much appreciated

is it the 6 stacker or single??

if its a 6 stacker, u got a cd jammed in there. rip it out, open the top and remove all the cds from in there. be careful not to damage anything while doing so. give it a clean out if it looks dirty. mine had some dust etc in there.

if you KNOW there are no discs in there, open it anyway and clean it out.

then plug it all back in and turn it on. let it go through its usual boot up procedure before chucking discs in.

PS it could be stuffed like i think mine was. i didnt even bother trying to repair it

Its not stuffed just for what ever reason has gone stupid.

Turn the ignition to accersories, turn the radio on and leave the ERROR flashing for about an hour, then it will say CODE. thats when you need to enter the radio pin code, If you need to know your code let me know via PM.
